8:45 – 9 a.m. Welcome by Deborah Campbell, director of Eleversity a division of Heritage Christian Services 

9-10:05 a.m. Keynote by Desmond Jackson, deputy executive health director at Monroe Community Hospital 

Leading for Longevity: Reimaging Workforce Sustainability through the Lens of Servant Leadership Sustainable organizations are built by leaders who prioritize people, purpose and long-term well-being. This keynote will explore how servant leadership can help address burnout, strengthen engagement and create resilient workplace cultures where employees feel valued and supported. Participants will leave with practical leadership insights to promote wellness, improve retention and build trust across their teams.

10:15 – 11:30 a.m. Expert speaker session moderated by Dr. Wanda Cooper, workplace wellness consultant

The Burnout Blueprint featuring Betsy Truax, vice president of equity and compensation at First American Equipment Finance, Marcus Elliott, success coach at Heritage Christian Services, Chuck Collard, regional vice president of western New York operations and advancement at Heritage Christian Services, Regina Grice, director of human resources at Allendale Columbia School and Jawaid Samadey, director of total rewards at Heritage Christian Services 

This panel provides an advanced exploration of the wellness wheel framework, specifically designed to mitigate the intersectional stressors of a diverse workforce. This discussion will focus on the eight dimensions of the Wellness Wheel: intellectual, occupational, physical, social, spiritual, emotional, environmental and financial.

Participants will take with them actionable approaches to integrate burnout prevention into leadership development, workplace culture initiatives and strategic human resources planning. This workshop session presents a systems-based framework for understanding workplace burnout as an organizational challenge impacting engagement, retention and performance.
