New York APSE support opportunities
New York APSE has several opportunities for requesting support to participate in our annual Employment First Training Institute. Please see below:
- Thomas Golden Memorial Scholarship
Thomas Golden was a long-time colleague, partner and friend to APSE. He was a tireless advocate for equitable employment opportunities for people with disabilities. During his time as the executive director of the K. Lisa Yang and Hock E. Tan Institute on Employment and Disability, he demonstrated his commitment to lifelong learning and elevating the vocational services field. He had a special place in his heart for opening doors to those new to the field. To honor Thomas and his countless contributions to our field, NYS APSE has established a scholarship in his name.
- Michael Peluso NYS APSE Memorial Scholarship Application
Michael Peluso was a tireless advocate on behalf of New Yorkers with disabilities for more than 2 decades. Michael contributed to the successful passage of federal and state legislation leading to reforms in the areas of independent living, vocational rehabilitation, long-term care and
transportation reforms.
- OPWDD
